Retudy APPLICATION TERMS OF SERVICE
Operating Entity: Retudy ("we", "us").
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully. By downloading, accessing, or using the Retudy application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. INTRODUCTION TO THE SERVICE
Retudy is a global pioneering educational platform applying technology to optimize learning experiences. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Microlearning & AI: Providing chunked learning content combined with Artificial Intelligence to personalize learning paths and answer learner queries.
- Group Management Tools: System for Managers to create groups, track progress, and evaluate competency transformation effectiveness.
2. ELIGIBILITY AND TERMS OF USE
2.1. Age Requirements
- You must be 13 years of age or older to use this Service.
- If you are between 13 and the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction (usually 18): You may only use the Service with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
- Parents/Legal Guardians agree to be responsible for all actions of minors under their guardianship when using the Service.
2.2. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You commit to providing accurate and complete information upon registration.
- You may not share your account with others to avoid distortion in learning progress recording and competency evaluation results (especially critical for Manager tracking features).
3. SPECIAL FEATURE: STUDY GROUPS AND MANAGERS
Retudy allows users to join "Study Groups" created by individuals or organizations (referred to as "Managers").
When you join a Study Group (via code, link, or assignment):
- You agree to share your learning progress, scores, exercise history, and related competency metrics within that Group with the Group's Manager.
- The Manager has the right to view reports and export statistical data for internal training, personnel evaluation, or class management purposes.
- Retudy is not responsible for how Managers use your learning data after it is legitimately extracted from the application according to their authority.
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
4.1. Retudy's Rights
All content on Retudy including text, design, graphics, interface, source code, AI algorithms, logo, brand, and lesson contents are the intellectual property of Retudy or licensed to Retudy. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without our written consent.
4.2. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create and upload (e.g., questions, discussion posts). However, by uploading, you grant Retudy a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, store, and display that content to operate and improve the Service.
5. CODE OF CONDUCT AND PROHIBITED CONTENT
When using Retudy, you commit NOT to perform the following actions:
- Cheating in the learning process (using bots or software interfering with exercise results).
- Posting unlawful, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory content, or violating third-party copyrights.
- Uploading viruses, malware, or attempting cyberattacks disrupting Retudy systems.
- Illegally harvesting personal information of other users or Managers.
- Using AI features to generate harmful, unethical, or illegal content.
6. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SERVICE DISCLAIMER
- AI CONTENT NATURE: Retudy's AI features assist in answering questions and suggesting learning paths based on data. Despite our continuous efforts, AI responses may sometimes not be 100% accurate or may be subjective.
- DISCLAIMER: AI-generated content is for educational reference only and does not replace professional advice (legal, medical, financial...). Retudy is not responsible for decisions made based on AI responses.
7. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service immediately without prior notice if you violate any of these Terms or upon request by competent authorities.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Retudy and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of data, profits, or business interruption) arising out of your use or inability to use the Service.
9. CHANGES TO THE SERVICE AND TERMS
We reserve the right to modify these Terms or adjust Service features at any time. Material changes will be notified via the application or email. Your continued use of the Service after Terms are updated constitutes acceptance of those changes.
10. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved primarily through negotiation and conciliation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent Court in Hanoi, Vietnam.
11. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
